Today in the 21 century most of the developed world life side by side without the care of skin colour, beliefs or ethnic background. Just fifty years back this was not the case. Till recently the world has revolved around an ideology of 'martial races'. There's been one or two topics recently regarding Aryan's, Hitler and other prominent figures & groups from history on the forums.
I myself am lucky enough to be under the banner of these martial races. Infact, I have many links. I belong to the Indo-Aryan race, I'm also a member of the Sikh community.
In India a few races are considered supreme despite how wrong it may seem. The Rajputs, The Sikhs, The Gurkhas, The Pathans & Pashtons of Afghanistan.
In each of these groups you can digg deeper to find specific castes and clans. Recently I was on youtube looking at some videos. I came across a video made on Afghanistan (it was like a music video). Suddenly I found a few pictures come up of famious Sikhs figures.
I messaged the poster regarding the video and he himself is a Pasthoon Muslim. For those who do not know, Sikhs and Muslims by history are enemies. Below is a transcript. As you can see due to him being in Afghanistan his English isnt exactly perfect (not that mine is!). ========== i brother i have a question are you pashton? or hindi? if you are sikh i respekt your clan your nation!!
brother nice to have you on my video site you are welcome , long live the sikhs brave worriers ,that beat us the pashtons ;D ========== As you can see, even enemies at one time acknowledge each others bravery. On another video he's started calling me by the name of 'Raja Singh'. Which translates to King Singh (Singh = Lion).
The idea of martial races in India is said to be brought along by the British. However, I think so otherwise. I believe this idea existed long before. The fair skinned people on India (Indo-Aryans) from the start did not really consider the dravidians (dark skinned south Indians) as a martial race. This idea is reflected in the Hindu caste system. Although the thaught conflicts with certain values I hold, I still think people declared as martial by heritage still have it in them to achieve more in the world than those from non-martial races. If I were to risk my life I'd rather place it in the hands of a family/group of people with a martial heritage.
